A New
"Mozart to Motown Christmas"

Saturday, November 27, 2004
Capitalizing on the runaway success of the 2003 world premiere of "A Mozart to Motown Christmas", Russell Joel Brown brings
back his special brand of Christmas magic to Augusta audiences. Last year's show saw dance performances by the CutnoDance
Performing Ensemble as well as many other special guests. Audience members came on stage to help decorate the holiday trees
and to kiss Russell (or the person of their choice) under the mistletoe! Tchaichovsky, Duke Ellington, Handel, The Jackson
Five, Donnie Hathaway, Bruce Springsteen, Harry Connick, Jr, Mahalia Jackson, The Temptations, The Supremes, were all
represented in the theater that night. Were you? Don't miss this brand new show with new music and new special guests!
Making his Augusta debut, New York saxophonist William Gee performs live onstage at the Imperial Theatre in "A New Mozart
to Motown Christmas". Mr. Gee is a favorite at such jazz hotbeds as the Lenox Lounge, St. Nick's pub, Margie Elliot's Parlor
Entertainment, the Newsroom, and the Bitter End. William Gee joins Russell Joel Brown in an "auditory hoiday gift" for Augusta
audiences. Also appearing in the New Mozart to Motown Christmas show are the following Mozart to Motown scholarship recipients:
Cutnodance student Christopher Wilson, IDRUM2U Studio student Khalill Brown, and Javacya Arts Conservatory student Daniel Price.

Looking for something original this Valentines Day? You won't want to miss the debut of Mr. Brown's newest production,
"Russell Joel Brown: Romance Unplugged." Promising a scintillating evening of love set to a romantic score, "Romance Unplugged"
will be a night your Valentine won't soon forget. An optional "Romance on the River Package" includes a delectable dinner for
two at D. Timm's Jazz Café, tickets to the show, and a night at a local full-service hotel. Mr. Brown declares "it will be
the hottest date on the hottest night of the year." "Romance Unplugged" will be held at the Imperial Theatre on February 12, 2004.
